What is FSSAI? FSSAI is a Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. It is a Government organization which governs and monitors the food business in India. FSSAI was established under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, government of India under the food safety and standard act 2006 which facilitate food safety and regulations in India. FSSAI ensures food safety Protection and promotion of public health MANDATORY REQUIREMENT OF FSSAI REGISTRATION FSSAI Registration(i.e. food license registration) is mandatory for any food business operator who is commencing a business of: 1)Manufacturing 2)Processing, 3)Soring , 4)Distributing and 5)Selling food

BASIC REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR FSSAI REGISTRATION

• Food Business Operator Pass-port Size Photo
• Photo ID Proof (such as Ration Card, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhar Card, etc.)
• NOC (No Objection Certificate by Municipality OR Panchayat).
• Declaration Form BY Business Operator
